12: Eeeeeeeaargh. YOU'RE a DOUCHE. It's not that hard, try it with me!
hopefully someone took a picture
You're fine. You just have a dancers body. Many think that's hot! ;)
I know, right....
could be that they just aren't very nice, tho, and not that they're just small
Get some fake one!
*ones. But I retract my statement since I've re-read and realized this is probably a teenager!
Fake boobs are gross on anybody.
A large portion of women who get "fake one" (breast implants) end up depressed and regretful. Also they can pop, only last a certain amount of time before you have to get new ones in, require painful surgery/healing process, and just aren't what was intended for your body. Come on guys, we all have our kinks. No one likes a perfection chaser.
Bury me all you want, I got mine done and couldn't be happier after years of struggling with my self-confidence. Like everything there are risks and maintenance issues that need to be taken care of but if you go to a reputable surgeon you significantly lower this risk. I work for a plastic surgeon so bring on the perfection chasers, they are keeping me in a job!
I like that the complaints come from teenage girls, speak to any woman who has them and they will tell you best decision they've made. And as for men, some like fake boobs, some don't. Some men like chubby girls, some don't, each to their own. :)
UksmUr Well I'm happy that you were able to improve your self esteem, but my beef with implants (and a lot of plastic surgery really) is the fact that self confidence is better improved by self love and acceptance, not necessarily changing your appearance. Because one day youll wake up, look in the mirror and be old and ugly again, and how will you feel about you self worth once your looks start to fade with age? Appearance doesn't last forever. Isn't it better to put time and money into more worthwhile things?
Past the fact that I'm a teenage girl, I'm giving one possibility of how you feel after the surgery. One of the Kardashian sisters (the one with the baby, I believe) was quoted to say she wished she hadn't gotten them, that she should have researched it more, and that she doesn't feel like it's a part of her body. On the other hand, my aunt has implants though she was already well-endowed, and loves them. You're entitled to show the other side of it, being that you end up happier; But do not reprimand me for my age, because it has no correlation with stating a fact. Telling someone they can be happy with who they are and shouldn't act hastily on every insecurity doesn't sound like bad advice to me.
#53 I've spoken to a few women who say that getting implants was a terrible decision and they regret it. Not everyone is happy with it.
#94 That makes you a hypocrite. People change themselves every day just to feel better. You color hair because you like the new color. You get contacts because glasses don't work for you. You change your style because you want something different. People get tattoos that never go away Girls get implants because they want bigger boobs. It's the same. We all have choices and yearn to express them. Everything we do makes us who we are. And if these women get implants because it makes them happy, well it's better than feeling like shit all the time. Don't judge people for what they do to themselves. I'm sure you've done stuff to that changes your appearance too.
2 things, do not use the Kardashians as your role model. Lastly, read my comment straight after where I retract my statement. Chill out, everyone loves boobs. You've all had them in your mouth once. :)
1. Not everyone was breast-fed. 2. The Kardashians are NOT my role models. Not even close. But they make mistakes just like every other human being, and can come to that recognition with a respectable statement. So, what I'm saying is I believe I would feel the same after getting breast implants as her, but you can represent your experience as well. Not everyone thinks cosmetic surgery is the right way to build healthy confidence. If you do, then by all means proceed. But I think OP, or anyone truly insecure about their breasts, should take the healthier route to confidence.
So didn't mean to sound as bitchy as I did, I work for a plastic surgeon so get annoyed over negative stereotypes. All good doctors will make you do an emotional test on you too, I've seen people be refused for breast implants due to mental state. The boob in mouth thing was meant to be a joke. This thread was getting a little bit wah wah!
That's one of those times you wish you could go back to with the perfect comeback. "Your life's disappointing!" and "Last ones you'll ever see." come to mind right away. I'm sure there are tons more comebacks, too.
"Now you know what your mother feels like whenever she looks at you."
