Today, the really hot guy that works in the same building as me came to work after being away for the past two days. I said "Look who finally decided to come to work." His response: "I had a death in the family, thanks." FML

that sucks you couldn't have known if someone didn't tell you. It's not your fault.

Yep, but make sure you go by and try to make it up... You couldn't know

thats pretty bad maybe you shoulda checked first?

Hey, you've been away for a while, who died? Yeah much better!!

That's why you ask "Where've you been?" in a nice tone instead. YDI

Unless you're his boss, it's none of your damn business where he was.

shouldve asked if he was feeling better. could've been sick or stressed or lonely .

you stalker you would notice his 2 day absence!!!

He works in the same building. I would notice if someone was missing for a few days.

if OP didn't know, how on earth is it his/her fault?! its perfectly normal to say that if they've been absent for a while, not in a nasty, horrible sense but in a light-hearted way (if you get what I'm saying). FYL, however this is more of a F His L

Finally someone I can agree with

I agree, that's something I say frequently ("look who finally decided to show up") but with a friendly hint of sarcasm, an I've never once had anyone take it wrong. Sounds to me like he was just being an ass...

It's ok, you didn't know. FYL.

You deserve it for.... 1. Judging someone for something that is none of your business, where you could have instead asked "Hey are you ok?" 2. For jumping to conclusions
