Today, my wife is divorcing me because she wants to party more with her friends alone. One year ago, I followed her to Norway, where her family lives. I left my friends, family and job opportunities (which were very good) in order to live with her. Now I am shoveling shit on a horse farm. FML

Today, my wife said she wants a divorce. Three days ago, I added her onto the title to my house, my bank accounts, and my business. FML
Today, my ex-girlfriend got married to a man she met last year. She left me after 8 years together because I told her I wanted to have fun and live my life, and wasn’t ready for marriage. Three years later, I’m not having fun at all. None of my bros wanna make plans because they’d rather be with their wives and kids. FML
Today, my wife asked for a divorce. Apparently, me being forced to work on her birthday and our anniversary 3 years in a row is the absolute limit she’s willing to put up with. FML
Today, my current wife left me for my ex-wife. FML
Today, I found out that my wife of 5 years has decided to change everything: her job, clothes, hair style, car, and me. FML
Today, my wife of seven years told me she wants a divorce because I'm boring. FML
Today, my new wife and I got home from our honeymoon, and not an hour later she'd sat me down for a talk, saying, "Now that you're married you've got to act the part and give up this silly nonsense," then banned me from seeing my friends, playing video games, and basically everything else I ever enjoyed. FML
Today, my wife wanted more space, so we moved to a new house. I signed a more expensive one-year lease and went through a huge move. Everything would’ve been fine if she hadn’t broken up with me one month later. Now I’m trying to renegotiate the lease and sleeping on the couch. FML
Today, my wife packed the kids up and left for Idaho. I found a letter saying that she misses her paranoid schizo dad and brother, and that she misses me when I'm at work, but can't stand me when I'm home. She is now 1700 miles away, and I'm here alone. FML
Today, a year after we agreed to a divorce, my wife and I are still married and living together because it's not financially possible for us to split. We get along well enough, but I'm ready to move on. She's already moving on, according to the boyfriend she's been seeing for months. FML

sue her and take all her money. i seriously think that a jury would take your side. and if not ('cause i have no idea how the court system in norway is) just do what #25 said, leave her, the kids, and everybody, refuse to pay child support, change your name, and start a new life. screw the stupid *****.

My initial reaction is to tell you to crack her over the head with that shovel and bury her on the horse farm. Seeing as that's likely not the best legal course of action, drain your bank account, sell all her possessions (be sure to sell all her jewelry and your wedding band), and move back to the States - or Canada, or wherever you are from.

I saw that you are from/live in Vestfold, Norway and that's what made me comment, cause that where I live too, but I dont know if you speak Norwegian so i'll stick to English. But I feel for you, I really do. Your wife sounds like a douche and shoveling horse shit isn't exactly ideal. #28 said to sue her, but that will not work here. If you can get her back to the states with you im sure you could sue her for every little penny she owns (or krones, whatever) but we dont sue people here. unfortunately. but good luck, I bet your wife is gonna get sick of partying with her friends eventually and she'll spend the rest of her life alone with 27 cats, regretting leaving you.
