Today, my wife and I decided to try out role playing. She ended up having an anxiety attack when I said she wasn't turning in her homework. FML

Now you can swap roles be her dr and prescribe her some "injections"

If there's one thing I've learned from FML its that role playing almost always never works out

If it worked out, then they wouldn't be posting about it on FML.

Really now? Honestly I though FML was for posting the positive aspects of our lives... guess I was wrong.

We should open up a "Bless My Life" website for that sort of stuff.

Worst metaphor for an erection I've ever heard..."extend the deadline"...

what if he wasn't talking about an erection? and he was simply stating a fix for her anxiety attack.

It probably reminded her of some bad memories from school. I'm currently in high school, I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression when I was twelve, and I constantly have panic attacks over school. Whether my homework is done, tests I needed to pass or else I'll fail, etc. TL;DR: The role playing most likely just caused a resurfacing of brutal high school anxiety

Before I read, I wanted to point out that this comment is longer than the post.

Eh, I've never really understood school roleplay anyway...you wanna pretend your partner is a child? Kinda weird. Maybe try a different situation/character?

A "child"? Some people are in school when they are 25 or older. I hardly think that they're children.

I'm 19 and in University. Most of my classmates are 5+ years older than me.

its the idea of being an authority figure, not too different from role playing as a police officer.

Perfect in school so it seems...maybe a Saturday school to make that up might be a good idea
