Today, my overweight colleague twisted his ankle. He's pretty self-conscious about his weight, but I had a brain-fart and told him he shouldn't try to put too much weight on it. His feelings are more hurt than his ankle now. FML

That's a typical thing to say about an injury. He should know that, and it shouldn't affect your ability to speak normally.

Don't worry if he complains about you to human resources, he doesn't have a leg to stand on

Offended by a little joke, how pathetic. Take him to the safe space will ya?

Ah, you must be one of those assholes who think safe spaces are ridiculous.

that wasn't your fault, he just took it The wrong way

If he acts like that he needs a psychologist

tell him to stop being a ******* pussy. He knows he is overweight and he should also know that you were were telling him to take it easy on the leg

You did nothing wrong OP. That's just him overreacting and being overly-sensitive. If he's that upset about his weight, maybe offer going to the gym with him.

That's what people usually say to someone when they hurt a lower extremity... even if the person is only 60lbs..
