Aren't there any noise pollution rules in your area during the night? I live in Ontario, and we'd be fined for doing that.

You could definitely contact bylaw services. Every city/town I know of in AB, has a bylaw about noise levels at night. (about not mowing the law, too, if that's normally a problem...
