sounds like my dad
sorry but your moms like a total bitch for saying that :(
guess someone is picking sides
Wow
Wow, really guys? First, she hasn't had a 103° fever for two weeks. She's had the flu for two weeks and currently has a 103° fever. Second, as much as I understand the point that her mother is looking out for her other child, I agree that at least partially, this is an FML. I don't know about you guys, but when I'm sick, especially THAT sick, I'm feeling beyond miserable, which means that I'm extra sensitive. OP probably is too. If I was miserable and sensitive, I would probably be pretty crushed if my mom seemed to not care about my well-being as much as my sister's. Personally, my feelings would be hurt too. OP isn't being a "whiny bitch" as a bunch of you are saying. She's sick. OP, try to drink as many fluids as you can to keep your body hydrated, get plenty of rest, and hopefully when you recover, your mom will seem kinder in your eyes.
I guess she picks favorites
To number 13 there are way more colds then swine flu, I had influenza and I was home extremely sick for a little over two weeks. It's not uncommon stop acting like a know it all.

Cough all over your moms toothbrush, silverware, clothes, anything she comes in close contact to.
Bit of an inconsiderate mother. But you might wanna consider the fact that since you've had it for two weeks, she's a little worried your sister will too.
