Today, my husband left me for one of the college students I was tutoring in Spanish. We have two kids and are expecting a third. He left a note that said he would "stay in touch." FML

Pretend you don't care. Say it's a relief not to have to feel guilty about your affair anymore. Keep tutoring her. Make sure she fails. Whenever she comes for lessons introduce her to your kids as the woman daddy left them for.

oh my god. this is the first time I've read an FML and really felt bad for someone. there is no excuse for him to do such a thing and, in addition, leaving a note!?!? ugh. I'm really sorry about that. FYL

i agree with #23 its definitely not ur fault... it sucks that u married an asshole, and ur college student turned out to be a man stealing bitch... but remember, she's in college, so u honestly think his little runaway affair will last long? in no time he'll com crying back to u... divorce the douche bag... u deserve better

Honestly, YDI for not being "good enough" for him. It's impossible to draw a lot of information from the FML post (with the char limit) so it's reasonable to assume that the college student you were tutoring was much hotter, sexier, and attractive than you are in front of him. If you already do everything you can to look the best and be there for him in the time of need, then it's an FML, but I doubt that.

If the husband is that much of a coward I doubt the student is going to have enough guts to return back to be tutored. So not only did she break up a home but she is screwing herself academically. Let's see where this life leads the little tramp in ten years...
