Today, my fish's tank was all green and nasty, but I had no time to clean it because I woke up late, so the job was left to my mom. When I came back, the water level seemed high, and the fish looked a little strange, so I asked my mom what she did. She said "I cleaned the tank with chlorine!" FML

Today, my dad decided to clean my 20 gallon fish tank. I had 6 fish. One of them was called a transparent fish, clear with a bright orange tail, which was my favorite. My dad didn't see it, and dumped the water out along with it. FML

Today, I wanted to do something nice for my mom. So, while she was sleeping, I cleaned the whole house for her and even made her breakfast. A few minutes later, she came downstairs and yelled at me to keep it down because she was trying to sleep. FML

Today, my mom is on vacation and I’m taking care of her pets. I also get to clean the entire house. No, she didn’t ask me to do that. It’s just that I had to hold my breath every time I opened the fridge, and there is no surface clean enough to actually touch, so I simply couldn’t help myself. FML

Today, I asked my husband to watch our daughter while I ran a few errands. While he treated himself to a long nap, she decided our fish needed a bubble bath, and squeezed out an entire bottle of dish soap. I came home to bubbles all over the floor, five dead fish, and one sleeping husband. FML

umm algae scraper much? it's a little magnetic thing, takes about 2 minutes to clean a tank. next time, don't let your mom touch your fish.

No offense, but your mom isn't that smart when it comes to fish. Didn't she notice that the fish were all dead after she chlorinized it? And if someone DID clean a fish tank with chlorine, at least rinse it out afterwards! Next time that happens, just turn off the light above the fish tank. Fish don't need a lot of light, but algae does. Only keep the light on when there's people in the room.

my mom did that once ...all my fish died but the big one. he flopped around for a few hours but then he died too.

The question is: is his mom stupid, or was she trying to make him start taking responsibility for his own stuff? If it's the latter, it's cruel, but I bet it worked!
