Today, I found out that in the past, my mother has paid or outright threatened my girlfriends into breaking up with me, because they were, "unsuitable trash not fit to be the mothers of my future grand babies." This explains why I’m 47 and have never married or had children. FML

Don't worry OP. My husband is like you and I've always been a loyal and caring woman who was mistreated by my ex-boyfriends....when we finally found each other, we were a perfect match. It *does* happen and the right kind of girl for you is out there - it just takes time (and unfortunately, some heartache, but this will also make you a stronger person).
