Today, my daughter asked me the difference between "their" and "they're". This is the same child I've been spending thousands of dollars on to send to law school. FML

"You're" daughter is going to be fine :)

one who asks questions is foolish for five minutes, one who doesn't is foolish forever

Unfortunately, this isn't all too surprising. I'm in grad university and have seen other papers with similar grade school grammatical errors. It's depressing all the same, though.

You missed the opportunity for a perfectly good joke... you could've said "Their they're, you're daughter will be alright." >_>

Ugh! You're right. Just tried to point out that "there" was one more missing that screws some people up. there, their and they're

Why participate and focus in school when you can just become a prostitute!

Their they're now, don't get all upset.

Some people just lack common sense and are just plain too stupid to begin with, no matter how much money you spend on their education. Wouldn't want her as a lawyer. She might get confused between innocent and guilty

Um, the difference between "their" and "they're" is not the same as that between innocent and guilty? Assuming you know what I speak of.

Does she know the difference in bars, as in passing it, hanging out in one, or being behind them.

Just thousands? Not hundreds of thousands, or even tens of thousands? I'm guessing she got one heck of a scholarship.

Well, it would've been stupider of her not to ask.

Well unfortunately LOTS of people don't know their they're and there. Same with you're and your. America. What are we gonna do?
