Today, my boyfriend told me he wanted to drive to India. Thinking he meant Indiana, I said sure, knowing I have friends there. He said, "Bangladesh, India, here we come!" He was serious. FML

Today, I was meeting friends for dinner at an Indian restaurant. I was waiting for the group to arrive and our table to be ready. An Indian man approached me smiling, so I said "We're not ready for our table yet". Then I realized it was my friend's boyfriend who I've met several times. FML

Is there any reason why you can't just try communicating with this guy rather than telling the world your life sucks because you don't want to correct a misunderstanding? Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I don't get why you didn't just say "Oh sorry, I thought you said Indiana"
