It's the thought that counts.
Quality over quantity! Your boyfriend obviously cares a lot about you, and I'm sure it was a lovely, intimate birthday
Giggity
I feel like he could have avoided telling you this... ignorance is bliss.
Make some friends, you have a boyfriend so you can't be that bad
Oh man! It's that easy?! Just go and make friends?! I wish someone had told me it was as simple as just doing it when I was growing up and never hard a birthday party because I had no friends. I bet you're one of those people who tells those with depression to just "stop being sad" too.
Chill dude what crawled up your ass
not to diss OP but Honey BooBoos mom has boyfriends, Charles Manson currently has a girlfriend and some girls waiting and even Hitler was married... Having a significant other doesn't mean much.
Family party?
I feel your pain. At least you have a good man.
Surprise! You have no friends.
SURPRISE! you are a scumbag.
get out more?
If you don't have many friends, how do you get out more? Usually you do things with your friends.
go out and join events. there are plenty of public places you can meet new people at. you can also meet some pretty cool people online as well, but that doesn't really help with a party.
I'm genuinely asking because all of my friends are online, or they've moved away for uni :(
45, your best bet is to join some groups or a class of some sort. That way you can meet people that are interested in the same thing you are too. Join a book club or dance class or painting class or something.
I'm yo friend
