Your daughter's a jackass. Good riddance to her, but it sux that you can't see your granddaughter. I hate people who can't control their bratty children then get all bent out of shape when something bad happens.
Honestly. What a good dog to only scratch her! My dog would have bitten her leg. And though I don't recommend doing this. Young children severely abusing animals in such way is a very serious red flag for child services to get involved... You have a good dog, OP. I'm sorry you were put in such an awful situation
Your daughter is a dumb bitch and should be raising her kids better. That's animal abuse and the kid had it coming.
The child I babysit is about the same age, an only child, and totally spoiled. Somehow her father, who hates small dogs, got a small dog, and he's telling me how much of an animal lover his daughter is when I had just seen her kick their dog! He said she's not very nice to their dog, though...
Tell your daughter that her and her daughter are not allowed in your house, near your dog, until she learns how to be a proper parent and teach her daughter how to behave like a child, rather than an animal.
Omg... No offense but your daughter is a bitch, please don't hurt your dog by getting rid of it or 'destroying' :(
I guess that daughter wont be getting any presents for a while. The grandchild provoked it.
ydi, for having kids.
Yes, but if a child burns her hand on a hot stove, nobody blames the stove. The parent would presumably tell the child this is why you don't put your hands on stoves. Similarly, if a child is kicking a dog, and the dog defends herself, the parent should know that the dog was defending herself. Actions have consequences, and a nine-year-old kid should be old enough and smart enough to know that.

Tell her to shut the **** up.
Clearly some adults haven't realized what your granddaughter either has by now or needs to: that there are consequences for actions and that animals are not punching bags.
