Today, I woke up feeling ill. My mom sent me to school anyway, and grounded me for "lying" about being sick. As soon as I got to school, I began vomiting blood. FML

Be sure to mention what your mother did to the emergency room doctors and your teachers.

could also be that the op has cried wolf too many times and has taken advantage of it. karma is a biotch

Could be. Could also be that OP's mom was actually poisoning OP in attempt to avoid the expenses of childcare. There's room for a lot of possibilities when you inject baseless speculation into an FML.

OMG! I hope you're okay and it's nothing too serious. I mean I could see your mom's side if you have tried faking sick one to many times. But if not what the **** is wrong with her?!?! I would assume that you looked pretty pale if you were that sick.

Lucky for you! You’re not really going to miss anything by getting grounded; you’ll be home sick anyway. You’re welcome.

I don’t know how you managed that, but you certainly should get “ungrounded!” Nice trick!

I’d like to chalk this up to ignorance, but I don’t know.

Oh boy. You have a Hispanic mother, OP? My mom thought I was faking it when I had pain near my stomach and couldn't barely walk. Appendix was close to bursting when I got to the hospital. There's something about mom's not believing their kids lol

I'm 29 and when I called my mom about whether I should go to the ER for abdominal pain she was skeptical as to whether I needed to and thought I was being overdramatic. I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery.

I hope you're not still grounded for "faking" sick.

Now THAT is some method acting.

Dear God, do the doctors have a diagnosis? That's not good.
