Today, I went to the movies alone after the boy I was seeing told me he was busy studying for exams. I found him making out with another girl whilst in the queue. When I confronted him by text he denied that it was him. I saw him check the text and reply. FML

Today, I was watching a movie alone, after receiving a text from my boyfriend saying that his grandma was at the hospital, so he couldn't go with me. I caught him on a date with another girl, at the same movie screening that I went to. FML

Today, I went to the movies with my boyfriend. We went inside the theatre and he saw a couple of his friends. Instead of saying hi and coming back to watch the movie with me, he ditched me for them. When I reminded him he was forgetting something, he grabbed the popcorn out of my hands and left. FML

Today, I asked a buddy of mine if he wanted to go see a movie. He said he was busy, so I decided to go alone. Midway through, the couple behind me was making out and kicking my seat. I turned around, and it's my ex-girlfriend making out with my buddy. FML

Today, I went to the movies with a girl I like, then we went to grab a bite afterwards. She spent most of the time telling me how much she dislikes my best friend because he hooked up with a new girl. I then found out the two had been "talking" for a while. FML

Have you not been around here long? There are quite a few FMLs about stupid skanks doing JUST THAT and it turns out it's not her boyfriend, or that the boyfriend was with a family member (but that would not be the case here). Checking first is a good idea, and texting is a quick, quiet way to do it. I agree that she SHOULD have done something after she texted him, though.

Perth is a small city indeed... I remember going to the city every weekend and I would at least ran into a dozen of friends. There's nothing to hide when you're in Perth. Everyone knows each other.
