Today, I went to have my eyebrows waxed for the first time. After signing in the receptionist looked at me and said "Lip wax?". I told her no, my eyebrows. She sat me down and the waxer walked up, took one look at me and said "Lip wax?" FML

Today, I went with my sister to get our eyebrows waxed. I didn't think my eyebrows were that bad--and they weren't! When the guy waxed my eyebrows, he gestured my lips and said, "Moustache, too?" Mortified, I said, "No!" to which he replied, "Aw, someone no get kissy tonight." FML

Today, I went to get a haircut. The hairdresser at the counter was kind of cute, so I had to say something non-standard. When she greeted me with her hello, I replied, "Guess what I need from you today?" She looked at me, considered, and replied, "An eyebrow wax?" FML

Today, I went to get my eyebrows waxed at a korean salon. I have never been there before and it's hard to understand their accents. The women asked me if I wanted "them all off". Not fully understanding what she said, I agreed. When she showed me the mirror, she had taken off my whole eyebrow. FML

Today, I had my eyebrows waxed for my senior pictures. After manhandling me, the cosmetologist managed to "accidentally" take my whole eyebrow off. It looks like I'll be remembered forevermore as the girl with one eyebrow. FML

Today, I went to the hair salon to cut 6 in. off my hair. When I got there I decided to get my upper lip waxed for the first time. When my boyfriend came to pick me up for our date I asked if he noticed anything different about me, the first thing he said was "I see you got rid of you mustache." FML

2 out of three people in this story are not in denial about your 'stache. You're wasting your money doing the eyebrows while cheaping out on the lip job. Once a guy's gaze locks onto your whiskers, he's moving on to the next girl and not even bothering to look anywhere above your nose.

Whether you need a lip wax or not, that was completely rude of the employees. This happened to me once, too, when I was in HIGH SCHOOL. The woman not only suggested I get a lip wax, but leaned over and -stroked- my upper lip over and over again while she talked about it. It's completely inappropriate.

hahaha..its okay thats their job..whether u need it or not most of them are going to ask u..if ur only getting ur eyebrows done they will ask u if u want ur lip waxed and if ur only getting ur lip waxed they will ask u if u want ur eyebrows waxed... it doesnt mean that u need it..they are just trying to ge more money

true! I forgot about that i used to bleach when I was in high school but waxing is so much more convenient. And this isn't an FML its something that LOTS of women get done.
