Today, I went to have my eyebrows waxed for the first time. After signing in the receptionist looked at me and said "Lip wax?". I told her no, my eyebrows. She sat me down and the waxer walked up, took one look at me and said "Lip wax?" FML

2 out of three people in this story are not in denial about your 'stache. You're wasting your money doing the eyebrows while cheaping out on the lip job. Once a guy's gaze locks onto your whiskers, he's moving on to the next girl and not even bothering to look anywhere above your nose.

Just get the lip wax. ;) It's a little more painful than the eyebrows IMO but it's worth it. I bought a package of wax strips, $7 for 24 strips, and I just do it at home. Cheap, quick and easy.

In Soviet Russia, the lips wax YOU! Sorry.. perfect moment. Anyway, it sucks if its THAT noticeable. Honestly though, sometimes those people just make you feel self concious sometimes so you HAVE to get it done, thus giving them more money. I have VERY blonde hair there, so blonde you cant see it, and they always ask me if I want to get it waxed. And isn't it usually after you get hair waxed that it grows in darker? So you'd have to keep going back in. Thus, giving them even MORE money. Sooo, yeah. :D

Its after shaving that it grows back darker. Anyway, OP: After they mentioned it, did you realize you needed a lip wax? Or do you not actually have some hair there and they were being rude? Don't be shy, I bleach mine blonde.

Take a hint sweetie.. It only hurts the first 20 times and then you get used to it. Plus, you'll be all baby smooth and 'stache-free with lovely lips that people aren't staring at because they're hairy.
