She just needs a few lessons in tact. Explain how offensive it is, how it makes you feel and how bad it makes her look. She probably meant it playfully and in fact proud of herself. If she was actually a racist against Asians she wouldn't put forth the effort to learn. You get to increase her vocabulary AND cultural awareness! ;D

Now that's truly offensive. Worse than the OPs girlfriend. It's racist and implies all Asian women are prostitutes. It was a horrible stereotype created during war time. The use of it in movies and books is to let the audience know the person saying it is beyond stupid, a racist and usually a bully. It's never said or actually used as an innocent joke. It's the exact same as when racist people used to say Ugga Booga making fun of Africans and slaves. We are a global world now we are smarter than those ignorant old days.
