Today, I was teaching a new student their first ever piano lesson, hoping that they would sign up for more lessons. Thirty minutes had gone by and after the 5th time of me saying what a talented, sweet little girl she was, the mother told me it was in fact a boy. They didn't sign up. FML

I did exactly the same thing on my pediatry exam. The difference was that child's mom freaked out, and started yelling at me. According to her, I shouldn't try to become a doctor if I can't tell the gender of a kid. Well, this could be tricky as the boy was two months old. I wasn't given a chance to examine him.

How old are you??? Yeah I understand if they have long hair or something but really after I couple of minutes you should have figured it out.
