Today, I was taking a nap while my mom was at work. I woke up when she came home and didn't think anything of it so I went back to sleep. When I woke up again, I went downstairs and our 52" plasma screen TV, my xbox 360, and $1500 computer were all stolen. I'm guessing that wasn't my mom. FML

Today, I came home to find a man standing in my living room. Since my mom texted me that her new boyfriend would be coming over, I just assumed it was him. I introduced myself, made us some coffee and I went to my room to study. When I went downstairs after a while, the TV was missing. FML

Imagine how scary it would've been though if you'd went downstairs and caught the burglar. I wonder what happens in that situation - if they try and attack you or if they make a run for it.

I'm not buying it. A 52" plasma is not something that you can easily steal. In fact a TV that size and weight does not fit into most cars! Thefts like this usually consist of grabbing something small enough to hide it and get away with it quickly.

My parents had their 50" old school big screen TV with the base on it (AKA way bigger than a 52" plasma TV) stolen from their garage. Now that thing was massive. Super heavy and awkward too. Jokes on them though because the reason it was in the garage was that it was broken.
