Wow. That's a horrible thing to say. Don't worry about it though. You can't let anyone else validate you. You know who you are and where you're going and only you can control that. Hey, that should give you even more motivation to kick ass in life! Show that granny who's boss ;)
don't feel bad my grandma does things like that too, she bought my sister a new laptop and a bunch of cool things that go with it and me...... absolutly nothing. im a good kid I have great grades I'm never in trouble but me sisters grades are better than mine and she's quite when she doesn't like things I speak my mind and I am for gay rights and they hate that.
Wow, what reason would she have to say that? And at your aunt's funeral? That's terrible...
Maybe she's a retired English teacher.
*you're
ugh soooo agree with #4 and 8 seriously
Haha, it's already been said but perhaps you can start going places by learning basic grammar. ;)
Ugh, grandparents. Don't let what she says (or didn't say) bring you down. I think as people get older they lose the ability to be kind and considerate. =
dude my grandma would totally do the same thing. My sister is a really good cross country/track runner who gets mentioned in the paper alot and i'm not that good at anything. i feel ya.
