Today, I was practicing soccer at my school. My team was practicing penalty kicks. It was my turn up and this cute girl that I like was watching off ten feet away from the goal. I was running to take the kick when I slipped and kicked the ball. It hit her head and now she won't talk to me. FML

Today, I was playing one on one soccer with a girl like. I accidentally kicked the ball right into her face. The ball rolled back towards me and as I was running to see if she was ok, I kicked the ball… right into her face again. FML

Today, I had a soccer game. A player from the other team hit me in the face. In the next half, she was the goalie and I was determined to score on her. When I finally got my chance to, everyone cheered, until I kicked the ball into the goal post and it bounced back and hit me in the face. FML

Today, at a soccer game held by my girlfriend's family, some idiot went to kick the ball, missed by a mile, and hit the ground hard. So I started a slow, sarcastic clap. I got a load of angry looks, followed by verbal abuse when we found out he'd split his head open on the ground. FML

Today, I was walking around in a park when I pass some kids playing soccer. One of them kicks the ball as hard as he could at me. Luckily I catch the ball. Then I drop kick the ball, intending to say "go get it." Instead it ricochets of a nearby tree and hits my face. FML

Today, during a soccer game, some utter moron got the bright idea of trying to score a goal from his side of the field. I sarcastically made a big show of just barely stopping the ball, and nailed it off to the side. The ball hit a kid so hard in the head that he had to go to the hospital. FML

Today, at work I was playing football with one of my camp kids in the indoor-pool. I saw a co-worker walking by and I decided to hit him with the football. The football slipped out of my hand and I hit a lady in the face, breaking her nose, and causing her to fall and get a concussion. FML

I love that when a girl is trying to show off, the bad things are her fault, but when I guy is showing off, the vote goes to "i agree". Anyway, next time you like a girl, instead of showing off, you try talking to her. I know that, as a girl, when I notice someone's showing off, it makes me want to roll my eyes, not throw myself at them.

Hmm... I'm rereading this FML and I could not for the life of me find where it said, "I decided I wanted to impress her". I don't suppose it's remotely possible that the guy just happened to notice that somebody he liked was watching him, and then shifted his attention (as much as possible) to the kick, without intending to actually show off? Of course, even if that was a factor, I doubt the guy's goal would have been to stun her with an amazing play; no, in a situation like that, the pressure is on to simply not choke. Before (most) guys focus on making a profit, we first make sure to break even. Benefit of the doubt, anyone?

You should just tell her that you were so busy watching her be beautiful you forgot to pay attention to your feet AFTER pretending she doesnt exist and that you dont like her anymore. Maybe then she will want you, reverse psychology. Shes already rejected you so paying more attention to her will probably get you no where
