Today, I was about to kiss my boyfriend in a courtyard when a soccer ball hit me in the head, hard. My boyfriend remarked that it made a "hollow sound" when it hit me. FML

Soccer balls are hollow. That's where the air goes when they're inflated. Also, his attempt to be funny fell flat. Like an un-inflated soccer ball.

FYI: soccer balls are hollow. Thus they make a hollow sound. Hope this helps.
