Today, I was on a conference call and digital meeting at work when I got bored and started surfing the Internet. Little did I know that my desktop was being shared. My boss was on the call and saw everything. FML

Today, I watched a YouTube video at work because I was bored. I forgot I was on a conference call and my computer's desktop was shared with 15 other people. No one said anything till it ended. FML

Today, my boss yelled at me for having Facebook open at work. That's fine, I closed it and continued on with my work. In a meeting later on I could see the reflection of my boss's laptop screen in a mirror behind her desk. For two hours, I watched her scroll through her Facebook feed. FML

Today, I was working from home. I felt very sleepy, so I set my online status “Active” and went back to bed. I woke up to 3 missed calls from my boss and an email from him, containing a webcam screenshot of me asleep in bed. I totally forgot he has remote access to my computer. FML

Today, I was having computer problems, so I let my friend have remote access to fix them. We were video-chatting on Skype at the time, and so he thought it'd be hilarious to load hardcore porn in my browser the moment he saw my mom enter the room from behind me. I'm now grounded. FML

Today, discovered that all the viruses I have gotten on my computer at work haven't been from anything I've done, but because my boss has secretly been using it after hours to download or watch porn so he wouldn't risk getting a virus on his own computer. I've lost 3 major projects due to this. FML

it's called "an iPhone". it gets Internet and to make life easy there is even a built in YouTube app. your iPhone will never be shared at a digital meeting.

Unless it was related to the meeting it was proof OP was, not only surfing the web on company time, but also doing so while ey should have been paying attention to the meeting. The former alone is enough to get a reprimand, if not worse, at some shitty companies, and the latter mostly anywhere. OP made it pretty clear that the surfing was not meeting-related, so it probably didn't end well for em. Of course, this is still a ******* huge YDI since, new or not, OP would be responsible for knowing and following such policies.
