Today, I was curious as to whether or not my mom was off of her medication. When I asked her, she pulled a knife on me. Looks like I got my answer. FML

Today, while I was cutting myself some watermelon, my mom walked in. I could tell she hadn't taken her medication in a while because she freaked out, grabbed the knife, and burst into tears before yelling at me, saying I could have cut myself and bled out. FML

Today, my mom thought it would be funny to wake me up with a monster mask on, holding a knife, and screaming, "I'm going to kill you!" My first response was to punch her in the face then kick her. Guess who's grounded for a month. FML

Today, my mom took away my medication. She's afraid I'll get "hooked". The medication is anti-anxiety pills. I have horrible anxiety attacks that sometimes cause me to scratch my arms until they bleed. FML

I have a friend who has a bipolar Mom. She gets out of hand sometimes (and if I remember right, she's done some violent things). I don't remember something like that happening, but I know how dangerous it can be to live with someone who has bipolar disorder (not from personal experience, just from what my friend has told me). It can be difficult... Hopefully you're okay. Maybe she'll rationalize soon.

Is your mom bipolar? My dad is, he pulled a gun on me once. Just try to stay away from her when she seems a bit "off". Whenever my dad gets crazy I just leave the house.

my dad is the same way, usualy i am the only one he gets along with... but there have been some shitty times. the worst fist fight i've ever been in was with my dad. he is one tough old geezer.
