Today, I was awoken by a conversation my mom was having with my dog upstairs. She was telling my dog that a ghost lives in our house. She was completely serious. The ghost even has a name and a backstory. FML

Today, I found out my mom recently stopped taking her medication. I came home to find she'd shot my dog because she thought he was possessed by the devil. FML

Today, my mom was in a really bad mood, so I stayed in my room to avoid her. It didn't take long before she barged in and started bitching about my dog, who'd pissed her off by acting too happy. Yes, she's actually that insane, and I have to deal with it on a daily basis. FML

Today, my mom is trying to be quiet, thinking me asleep. This means she will whisper to the dogs in the upstairs hallway, then quietly go downstairs where she will bang the doors so hard that the house shakes. Apparently, she thinks each floor is in its own separate dimension. FML

Today, I was sitting in my room watching TV when I heard my mother obnoxiously yelling for the dog. Minutes later she stomped into my room, swatted me over the head, and yelled at me for not answering when she called. She actually got my name mixed up with the dog's. FML

Today, my mother woke me up at 4:30 A.M. to tell me our dog was running down the street. I ran for an hour, chasing after her. Turns out it was our new neighbor's dog. Ours was in our basement. FML

I agree. And. About the ghost- plenty of people live in houses that are haunted. My aunt and my mom both saw the ghost of a little girl in my aunts old house. They researched and found out her name, story, everything. They even saw her in detail and knew she had pigtails. I'm not completely sure I believe it, but I always got a weird vibe from that house. As for putting the two together and talking to the dog about the ghost... That could be weird, or cute. I'm not sure which one, haha.

Obviously the OP is complaining that his mom would tell the dog about this ghost before him! Lol- sucks to be stuck with crazy mom- I would just go camping permanently before I moved back with my mom. She always talks to her dog and dresses her and lets her lick all in her mouth *yech*~ and that's just a tiny sampling of my mothers craziness : P
