Today, I've now worked on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, the weekend after that, and two days this week. My husband and son have had all that time off, and yet I've still ended up having to clean the dishes and the house after them on all of these days. FML

I don't think she's from America. In the UK we call the last Friday before Christmas 'black Friday' and it falls on 21st this year. :)

She wasn't referring to Black Friday, she was referring to the weekend after Black Friday, thus indicating that she knew Black Friday had happened but thinks the weekend didn't.

Ha ha! Brilliant! My parents put all the dirty dishes on my sister's bed when she hadn't done her kitchen cleaning duty that day. She was pissed!

I feel your pain. I work crazy hours too and the persons I live with clean but not the way I do,(I'm a clean freak). I'm sure you know to talk to them and explain that you're exhausted and need their help pulling their household weight. But. . . Some just don't see or care about the messes surrounding them. FYL if your words are in vain.
