Today, I said to a girl that I recently started dating, ‘I like you so far’. My phone had other plans and decide to autocorrect far to fat as I hit send. FML.

That’s not something you would say to someone anyways. I like you is all you need to say this so far is implied. When you say so far that means you’re not sure yet.

Exactly. I was texting a guy I met through a video game. He wanted to say “it’s too bad you’re so far.” Autocorrect wanted to say “it’s too bad you’re so fat.” I couldn’t stop laughing. Between the obvious mistake and his “OMGOMGOMG” replies it was simply hilarious.

Reasonable people understand that autocorrect sometimes does the wrong thing, sometimes to humorous or disastrous effect.
