Today, I realized that my girlfriend had never said anything about the proposal ring I had put into a box of her Froot Loops. When I hinted it to her, she said that the cereal had expired, so she threw out the box. FML

I do... but only after I've already tasted its staleness. People should be meticulous about expiration dates, though. It concerns their health.

That is the worst proposal idea I've ever heard. Firstly, fruit loops are not the least bit romantic. Secondly, you have no idea when she'd finish the box and so find it. Thirdly, even if she did eat the cereal, the ring would be in a bowl of ring shaped cereal, covered in milk - she'd probably swallow it and choke. Hopefully you can find the ring but when you do, think of something better to do with it.

You really should have done something more romantic and traditional than leaving it in a box of cereal for her to find... like hang it off of your testicles by a string. Yeah... that'd win her over... maybe when you buy the next ring... at the mall.
