Today, I entered the crowded bus and one man sitting in the priority seat glanced at me. Upon seeing my protruding tummy, he quickly offered me his seat. I took the seat. I am not pregnant. FML

At least he was kind enough to offer his seat. And you saved him embarrassment by taking it instead of pointing out the error. I think the situation went as smoothly as it could. Maybe you can use this as your wake up call to finally get on a path to losing weight if it really bothered you. Mine was when I saw myself in a picture about 2 years ago...I was so big, my face looked like it was swollen from a bee sting or something. I was disgusted with myself, so I started doing something about it. 35 pounds lost so far. :)

YDI BIG TIME! If you're big enough to be mistaken for being pregnant, maybe next time you should consider walking instead of riding the bus. And you took the seat, so you couldn't have been that offended/hurt. So yeah, learn your lesson and start doing something about it instead of bitching online!

Maybe she didn't respond because she was embarrassed and didn't want the guy to think she was fat. She was probably pretty upset by it. Also, people saying "YDI because you're fat" yeah, maybe it could help her to lose a few pounds, but it might not be her fault and she might very much want/be trying to lose weight. Or this could of been her wake up call. I just feel like some of you are being offensive (she should walk instead? It's likely to far to walk, and she's not going to walk everywhere)

You should be glad you got a seat! People these days . . . Btw, lose some weight. No offense. Oh, and YDI.

I really want to vote on this but, I don't want to say you deserve it because it might be misunderstood that you deserved the seat or that your life sucks because you were offered a seat and took it because you're too lazy to hold yourself up.

I'm tired of seeing these fml posts about over self conscience people. You always assume the worst from simple acs of kindness. Maybe he was being a gentleman and offering a lady a seat.

maybe he was just offering you the seat because he's a gentleman...
