Today, I came home to find my younger daughter left her silly band collection on the carpet in front of the fireplace. I now have melted unicorns and princesses stuck in my carpet. FML

How does she deserve it? The OP clearly said it was Thor child who left them there, and children are allowed to have things like that. There's nothing wrong with children owning Silly Bands, especially, y'know, AS CHILDREN...

That does suck... But you don't have to replace the whole carpet. If you have extra of the same kind of carpet, or some similar they can cut it out and blend in new carpet and it looks completely normal. I had to do this at my sisters house because my dog ripped up a small section of her carpet. It's a lot cheaper than replacing the whole thing.
