Today, I came home and saw on our fridge, "Please don't drink anymore, I really worry about your health" written by my 7-year-old daughter. I figured she wouldn't ever find out, so I opened the fridge. Then I found another note on a can that said, "So you're going to drink anyway?" FML

You should feel lucky to have a smart daughter who really cares about you.

I don't even know what to vote.. Either way this is really sad. Get help, please.

One of the classic definitions of an alcoholic is that your drinking causes a problem for you or someone else. You clearly meet that. Please, if you can't do it for yourself, this smart and caring child deserves better. I'm the child of two alcoholics. When I was a child and teenager, the entire refrigerator door was devoted to alcohol, as well as a lot of shelf space. Once I'd been wounded enough, I couldn't wait to grow up and get away from them. And I did. Do you want your daughter to be ashamed to be seen with you because brain damage from your of alcoholism renders you unable to follow a conversation, and you ask stupid, insane questions at any given moment? If you keep on the way you're going, that's your future, moron.
