your friend couldn't do much, considering the fact you were both ON a rollercoaster. if I was OP's friend, I would have done the same thing! that's a true friend right there.

I am guessing you were actually in the roller coaster going up the incline (or at least that's what I gathered), at that point with both of you locked in, there's not much else he could have done.

Today, my brother came home from his high school soccer practice and told me the coach said he knew me. He described to my brother that "Connie asked the stupidest questions". He was my guidance counselor in 8th grade. FML

To all people who said something like "Your friend should help you" or "If this happened to my friend, I'd help him/her", could you please kindly explain to me how would you help someone while you're on a roller coaster?
