Today, due to plumbing issues, I had to choose between a goosebump-inducing cold or skin-blistering hot shower. This is the 7th day in a row. My husband says it shouldn't be more than another week before he "gets it figured out". FML

So what did you choose? I had to have a freezing cold shower in Canadian february and it was terrible but I can't imagine skin-blisteringly hot would be any better..

Catch both in a large bucket, then shower at your optimal temperature by dousing yourself with a large cup/small pot. Or just take a bath until the issue is fixed

hire plumber: if you don't do that YDI

Pretty sure that's what family members are for?

Why don't you just.. You know.. Fill the tub half with blistering hot water.. And half with freezing cold water And just take a nice relaxing and warm bath Not too hot Not too cold Juuuust right

Hey! When a man says he'll fix it, he'll fix it. No need to remind him about it every three weeks

That's when it's time to lay down the law. Either he fixes it by tomorrow or you use joint funds for a plumber.

draw a how bath instead and let it cool before you get in (ice cubes help speed up the process.) That's what I did when we had plumbing issues at my childhood house and I was like 7 or 8 at the time.

Honestly, I'd probably take the cold shower, I hate heat
