Today, as I was stretching, I realized my hand can reach all the way up to touch the fan, when it was on, and going full speed. FML

No, and it's up to us, the FML community, to provide the OP with medical attention. Quick, whoever becomes commenter #32, hand me a scalpel and those forceps!

I feel you, I constantly hit my head on the roof of my car door getting in and out. Other than fitting into small spaces, being tall has its advantages.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have one less.
I feel the pain, being tall isn't always good :/

It happens to me all the time but luckily the fan was off at that time. I hope your hand is fine

Stretching? That has to be one of the least fun activities that can lead to numb fingers. FYL, indeed, OP.

I've only experienced this once, and it caught me off guard because I'm typically too short to even touch a ceiling fan's blades, but this particular apartment had a lower ceiling than most.
