Today, in algebra, I took out my notebook. My Chinese teacher was so impressed with my "Chinese" writings on the cover that I'm now her "favorite student". Those "Chinese" symbols are actually Japanese, but I wanted someone to like me so badly that I didn't correct her. FML
Today, the Chinese student I've been teaching English to got on stage in front of hundreds of people to read her final essay. She ended with, "What a fucking day." I don't swear, and I no longer have a job. FML
Today, I was asked to prove that I was Chinese by translating the phrase, "Ching chong ming chang ho". I'm not even Chinese. FML
Today, I asked students to identify a woman that made a difference in history. I got several people answering Martin Luther King Jr. These are 9th graders. FML
Today, one of my classmates got bullied and the whole class got to wrote 2000 words about that. FML
Today, I asked my classmate to look over my essay. His comments were longer than the essay itself. FML
Today, I had to complete a project for my course in Italian. We had to write a little paragraph about a friend. I had to make one up. FML
Today, I realized I forgot to write a 5000 word essay for my English class. I tried to be calm since I had until midnight to finish, and it was only 8pm. I typed for three hours straight,and finished the assignment. I read over the instruction again, and realized it only had to be 500 words. FML

If I wasn't Chinese I'd struggle. Mao? A few Emperors and empresses but in fairness learnt from period dramas. Sun Tsu? I memorised the Mulan poem when I was about ten. Depending how big your class is, it's not surprising so many were about Mulan.

This whole thread deserves to get bitch slapped, starting with you, Noor. I dare say the thumbs down you got are well-deserved. I make as many off-colour jokes as anyone else and my skin is as thick as anyone else's, but even I found your comment to be racist and offensive, despite its intensional sarcasm. I think I speak for a lot of folks here when I say I've come to expect better.
