if you live in the United States there are many organizations that can help you take care of your mother go to st. Vincent de Paul or Salvation Army or cancer survivors of America all of these places can help direct you to organizations that will help and tell your sister to pull her selfish head out of her ass and help out
Here in Germany (and I assume most of Europe), children are obligated by law to take care of their parents in need of care just like parents have to take care of their young children. I don't know where you are but I think it's worth a try checking out your legal situation and your chances of forcing them to at least pay their share of the bills.
Who the **** cares what your sister says Get her out your life fast, your mum will only remember who took care of her
Does anybody else find it odd that of all the bad things happening to this person, the thing that rises to FML level is an insult from her sister?
Did you sister call you selfish because you're looking after your sick mother?
Dear OP, I can relate so much. Cared for my mother at your age, too. Sadly, she passed away after three years. My sister (ten years older than me btw) never helped or visited but came to the funeral to ask for money and told me, our mom would have survived if she had taken care of her because she has a much more positive attitude (great example at this moment because I was bawling my eyes out and "not positive enough"). I cut her out of my life and all in all I can say it made me more mature and able to care for me and others. I wish you all the best in this hard times, try to be good to yourself, even if it is not easy. I do hope your mom will recover and I think you are doing great! Best wishes from my heart!
You’re a good human.
