Today, after I took my first set of exams, my professor posted on Twitter, scoffing at how stupid one student's answer was. The answer he quoted was one that I wrote. FML

Today, my math TA showed the class how one of her "dumb" students answered a test question. Everyone laughed as she wrote out the students answer, including myself, until I looked down at my answer sheet and saw that I submitted an identical answer. FML
Today, I realized that my Twitter profile was very public when my business professor made fun of student tweets in class. My tweet went, "Totally bullshitting this business report" about the report I'd just handed in, worth a large portion of my grade. FML
Today, I found out I've miserably failed a college exam. My friend had agreed to pass me answers if I needed them, since I've hardly studied this year. We were on the phone when she said, "Oh, those answers were bullshit. Serves you right, huh?" FML
Today, I got a question wrong on an exam. The question started with, "In your opinion..." FML
Today, I finally realized how stupid I am, when I answered a question correctly in class and my teacher started clapping and cheering. FML
Today, after finishing a two hour essay exam that will determine the future of my career, I realized I misread the question. FML
Today, I got back my math test. Instead of taking the time to mark the mistakes, my professor just circled the bottom half of the page and wrote "OMG." FML
Today, I worked up the courage to ask a question in a packed lecture hall. The professor repeated my question, except he'd misheard me and rephrased it into something wildly incorrect. The class laughed. Instead of correcting him, I nodded. Now half the class thinks I don’t understand the difference between correlation and causation. FML
Today, as I went into my calculus class, the teacher announced that someone had received a negative grade on the test we were getting back. I laughed and said, "Which f*cker managed to get a negative?" Turns out I'm the dumbass. FML
Today, while I was taking a test in class, there was a question that had everyone stumped. After what seemed like forever, the teacher finally noticed and said he'd typed the question wrong. I spent more than half the time I had to complete the test on a question that wasn't even written correctly. Yes, I failed. FML

But to answer a few questions:- I'm not upset, b/c I didn't end up with a horrible grade or anything. It did suck though after a friend pointed it out to me after coming back from Christmas break...especially since I didn't get my grade yet and the exams are worth a 100%...also our grades play a huge rule in placement for jobs. -Even though it sucked, I found it to be funny after a few days lol. Also, in law school, since your profs end up being your colleagues once you finish your degree, you have to ask yourself if it's worth taking it to the dean. -I doubt it is illegal since my prof is a lawyer as well...a very respected and well published one. He would know about the law. -This prof is honestly exactly like Sheldon Cooper (like from the Big Bang Theory). He is a genius and I'm sure he didn't do it to ruin my day lol.

Prof crossed the line. At the same time it means that you did really poorly, I doubt he badmouthed the response for no reason. So, next time try harder.

How very unprofessional of him! I would have made an anonymous complaint about that. Some people (despite a professor status) clearly don't realise how demoralising and humiliating that can be. I'm sure it must break some 'privacy' rule somewhere.
