Today, after having saved up my money for months to buy my college-bound son the car of his dreams, I got a phone call telling me it had been totalled during a drag-race. I only gave him the keys two days ago. FML

You should have made him earn the car of his dreams and bought him a beater. It took me 6 years to earn my Evo... My parents got me a 1987 Toyota and I appreciate the Evo that much more now.

YDI fo buying him a car and not making him buy his own car. especially the fact you had to save up for it, and make sure it was his dream car. dont spoil the brat, make him learn how life really is. i bought my own car and it didnt kill me
