Today, after 2 years of paying off the insurance fees after an accident, I got rear-ended. It was the same driver who crashed into me the first time. FML

I thought whoever is at fault pays the insurance fees? Or is that just a Canadian thing?

That was my thought, surely his insurance should be paying the bills?

Could have been determined to be a no fault accident. That happened to me once because the other person moved her car, so the officer was not able to determine who caused it.

I’m from the US and I’ve never heard of the not-at-fault party paying.

I wonder if a restraining order works for cars and driving distance too!

It’s the insurance company trying to keep your rates up.

Wait, why are you paying anything if the other person rear-ended you? They should be found 100% at fault and their insurance should be taking care of the damages to your car.
