Hey, you did the best you could. There is no such thing as a usual response to an unusual situation. I bet that girl could write you a very long list of the responses her illness has gotten from people. I'd bet twice as much that yours wasn't even in the bottom 10%.
LMFAO. you did the right thing my friend. who knew?
Just to clarify this... I HAVE Tourettes and for those of you who said it's a "fake disease" you're ****** assholes! TS is as real as any other disease and can be just as painful! I've broken many, many bones from my TS, not fun! Anyway, as far as the worker goes, you really did nothing wrong (in my eyes) i'm cool when I twitch in public, and when someone mimicks me, I let them know, but I make sure once i'm done that I (not a friend) tell them that there making fun of an INVORUNTARY DISEASE. I tell them in a polite way where i make them fell bad yet also educate them. Her friend on the other hand over-reacted, yes my friends to sometimes yell at people for me, but i don't like it. I feel if i'm gonna tell someone about MY disorder it should come from ME. Now i mean she could have been saying this because the girl with the TS could have been having a very, very bad TS day and then i can understand but still if it were me, I would have waited for my twitch to pass and then informed you like "You know I have Tourettes, so I'm not really doing this on purpose and i'd appreciate if you stoped, cause that's just making me twitch more and it's really not fun for me" or i'd hand out a card on TS and let you read it. Or my 3rd option would be I'd walk away from you but still be within ear distance and say to my friend "i hate it when people mimick my TS" that way you hear me but I don't make you uncomfortable by being face to face. I hope this helps everyone on here. You did the right thing buy trying to be nice to her but her friend totally over-reacted (given i don't know her case) that's how i feel. =)
ouch ! how the **** did you break bones ? are you a self injurer ? I've got ts as well but never realised you could push yourself that far as to break a bone ! good luck mate , message me
Well, Aparantly, Imatation isn't the sinserist form of flatery, and you're ment to guess that people have some sort of mental illness. That makes sence, doesn't it? (sarcasm.)
haha i can just imagine how awkward that would have been. Anyway, Ttanks for the insight #103.
OH MAH GAWD lol XD my second favorite!!!!

I call BS. Something about the dialogue just says "bad movie" to me.
