Today, my mother stormed into my room shouting about how I never go anywhere and then tells me to go out "NOW" and do something. As she is pushing me out the door, her boyfriend walks in. FML
Today, I got mad at my parents and threatened to run away. Things got so bad that I packed a bag and left, planning to hide in my front yard to teach them a lesson. It's been two hours, and I'm still standing behind a bush in front of my house while they make no effort to look for me. FML
Today, my parents started fighting at a restaurant. Embarrassed, I went to the restroom to get away and stayed in there for about 15 minutes, knowing how long their fights can last. When I came back, they were gone. They'd ditched me, and left me to walk several miles back home. FML
Today, I got into a fight with my mom over the chores, and stormed out. When I returned later, I found the house had been egged. My mom told my dad she saw me do it, and he won't believe my side of the story. He says I'll be lucky if I see sunlight this summer. FML
Today, I got into an argument with my dad in his hotel room. I lost my temper and stormed out onto the balcony for some fresh air, at which point he decided to lock the door behind me, trapping me there for half an hour while he watched TV. FML
Today, my mom and siblings got into a fight. Being generally quiet and non-confrontational, I stayed out of it. Shortly thereafter, I was yelled at by my mother for being "ungrateful" and "disrespectful." I still don't know what I did wrong. FML
Today, my mom and dad got into a fight, during which my dad said to my mom that her health conditions were of her own doing. Because of that, I got pissed and had a fight with my dad, taking my mom's side. Turns out, my mom took his side and ratted me out. FML
Today, I finally stood up to my mom and told her that as an introvert I desperately need some time alone to just recover. She, being the bitch queen of the extroverts, translated this in her head to, “I hate this family”, so she screamed at me, called me ungrateful, and made me homeless. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me in my front yard. As I stormed off in my dramatic exit, I realized I had locked myself outside. I had to ask my now ex-boyfriend to borrow his phone so I could call my mom. FML
Today, my parents and I went to the movies for my mom's birthday. After the movie, my mom and dad got into a fight, and left me at the movies. My cell phone was dead, and my house was about 12 miles away. They finally came and picked me up, hours later. FML

Sometimes thinking before you act isn't the best option - if he'd got to the door, paused and said, "hang on, I'M FRIENDLESS." then his dramatic exit would have been less dramatic and more humiliating.

To storm out and forget he has nowhere to go, I guess he was too upset to think before acting. You do not seem to take the circumstances into account. I think that's why people disagree with you. In general, of course, you have to think before doing anything. But then, we're not robots, and sometimes emotions have the upper hand, momentarily, and that's human.

I don't think storming out of the house is neccessarily a bad thing, Op put some distance between them and the situation. However, the real FML is that they have no friends, which means they might need to rethink their life and make some or come to terms with it.

Because when I'm upset to the point of storming out my first thought is exactly where I am going and I even have an exact picture of who I want to talk too. If you are that upset about anything thinking ends and flight mode begins, it's human nature.

I don't get why you would think that. A lot of people only have a couple of really good friends instead of 20 billion Facebook friends. If you only have a couple, a lot of times none of the ones that live close to you might not be available.
