Unless you both applied to the same McDonalds I don’t see the problem here.
To be fair, even if they HAD applied to the same McDonald's, the daughter would likely have won. A lot of "unskilled labour" jobs won't hire overqualified people because they worry they'll have one foot out the door the whole time.
Are you wanting a minimum wage job working twelve hours a week? If not, don’t be rude to her online. Grow up. Maybe that’s why you don’t have a job.

I mean, she's looking for an unskilled, low paying job, and you're looking for a career to fit your master's degree. I'm sure your job is more competitive to get with less spots available. Hard to compare what you're looking for to what she's looking for.
