Today, I ate lunch alone. None of my colleagues saved me a seat. One of those colleagues was my husband. He didn't even have the decency to move so that I wouldn't have to eat alone. FML

Today, I went out to eat with some friends. They picked a table that wasn't big enough for all of us. I had to sit in the booth behind them. Alone. FML
Today, I went out for lunch with one of my co-workers. After work, I talked to one of my friends about how unpleasant the lunch was with him. My co-worker was standing behind me listening in the whole time. FML
Today, I worked security by myself in an office, which meant I had to eat at the desk and wasn't allowed to leave. I got written up for my husband dropping off my lunch. FML
Today, I went and bought lunch for all the people I work with. The only meal the place forgot was mine. FML
Today, I invited my girlfriend to go eat out, hoping to put her in a really romantic mood. She decided to tell her friend, who then invited herself and another couple along. I ended up being made fifth wheel, and had to sit alone at an adjacent table. FML
Today, the guy I'm dating came into the same restaurant where I was eating. He was with a girl. He sat at the table next to mine and didn't even bother to say, "Hi." I guess I'm single again. FML
Today, I won a meal for two in a raffle. I had no one to go with. FML
Today, I got dragged to a wedding where I knew no-one. It went on for hours, I got so hungry. We get to the meal, my wife had forgotten to order a vegetarian meal for me. I couldn't eat the main meal, due to allergies and no alternative. I then spent two more hours just waiting to go home. FML
Today, during lunch, my coworker offered me her food, claiming she was full. I was still quite hungry, so I accepted it. Halfway through eating the sandwiches, my boss walked in and started interrogating people over who took his lunch. I quickly realized I was the one eating it. FML
Today, my husband stood me up for his birthday dinner, that I'd made, in our house. FML

^WIN!^ On a side note, I do have to say it can be really frustrating when a housemate (in my case, 1 of 3 roommates) takes your food. There have been days I've left a half a carton of milk on my side of the fridge, and the next day I won't have any to pour in the huge bowl if cereal waiting on the counter. Or when a significant other eats my reserve chocolate bar during the few days of PMS.. Not cool. =P (I just killed the joke, didn't I? Lol. Oops)

You beat me to it. What bothered me about this was that the OP's husband didn't have her back. If this had happened to me I would have questioned why my husband aided and abetted the people who snubbed me. Certainly he should have either made room for her or left the group to join her. A key part of marriage is putting your spouse first. Even if he didn't feel like being with her at that exact moment, he should have realized the message he was sending both to his wife and to their colleagues. By joining the snub he has indeed given the rest of the staff license to shit on his wife and he has done this to his wife's face. What kind of treatment does he expect in return? And where does the OP work? This kind of "let's not save a seat for so-and-so" is middle school nonsense.
