aww! I'm sorry op! don't let it get to you and go have a fun, happy birthday!
What if you've had your birthday wrong all along? My grandmother thought hers was in June for 60 years until they found her birth certificate and it was actually July.
That's interesting. I'd think with all the forms of identification you're required to have nowadays, she would've known her birthday!
Because back in the day they didn't have all that information we have now. My great aunt, who's in her 90s, doesn't actually know what day her birthday is because because the dates aren't the same on some official documents, and she's the youngest of 7 so her parents didn't remember which day it was either.
Almost the same happened to my grandmother! Except she was 40 or 50 when they found out.
My grandmother's birthday is registered a day after she was actually born because all of the nurses had gone home. That means they had to wait until the morning to register her. She only found out last year - when she turned 70 - when she found it in her dad's journal.
Just wondering why this comment got so many negative votes (?) I thought the same thing, Miss_Whipped.
Because others have supplied perfectly reasonable arguments as to why a person could mistake their birthday.
Eh, no need to worry, OP. She probably just got you confused with one of her other daughters from her secret families. It's difficult to keep all that stuff straight, especially when one child enters adulthood and leaves.
Well, I guess they're not going to remain secret families for much longer, then. Congratulations (and happy birthday) , OP!
happy birthday! it's my birthday too (:
Happy birthday both of you
At least she remembered your birthday. Maybe the wrong day, but it's something!
Probably all the drugs the doctors gave her during labor made her forget what the real day was. Or you were lied to your whole life and your birthday is actually a few days later.
At least she remembered you had a birthday. Everyone foget mine last year.
to everyone that it's their birthday, happy birthday; to everyone else happy unbirthday
