Kitchen Nightmares

Today, at work teaching a cooking class, one of the kids asked if they could use a knife to help me chop vegetables. I said no, because it was very sharp and only staff members are allowed to use them. Just as I said that, the knife sliced through the tip of my thumb. FML

And now you get to teach them first aid! You're such a good teacher.

safety first! ydi you should've stopped chopping while talking to him.

I'm guessing you were distracted. Now only plastic knives will be allowed.

pay attention next time. ask the woodshop teacher about missing finger parts. lol

Look on the bright side, at least you've taught that kid a lesson they won't forget for a while.

You don't need that part of your thumb anyways!

Ewww I bet blood squirted everywhere and you had to start over!

I once cut my thumb with one of the plastic knives they make the students use. I was embarrassed and never went back.
