And I'm not saying he should be the pinnacle of bravery here, but he either wasn't trained how to handle this situation properly or he needs a backend job. I was a cashier, and the thought of being robbed didn't bug me or the other cashier, it's not our money or our problem to solve but some people only think about the bad outcomes and can't think rational in bad situations. panic or not he needs to be taught to think through stress or find a job he can avoid this sort of possibility. either way you sound like an asshole and didn't teach them to handle stress right...
