Heartless

Today, at a supermarket entrance, a seemingly drunk old lady said, "Sir?" as I passed by. I just ignored her and walked in. When I walked out with my groceries fifteen minutes later, several people were standing around her, calling for an ambulance. She'd passed out on the ground. FML

I don't see why you wouldn't have just asked what she needed, instead of ignoring her COMPLETELY... :/

Why did you ignore her?! Even as a courtesy you should at least see what's wrong and if she looks bad get help for her!

Hey it wouldn't have been that bad to ask what's wrong before judging her. You probably wouldn't like it if someone did the same thing to you.

you are an ass, a drunk homeless slob wouldn't say "Sir" in a nice way as you walked by. you must not have or been taught manners. and WTF is up with all this Social Anxiety of mostly Americans on here? WTF, i guess this is what happens when parents are so over protective of their children. we now have a whole generation of people who can't even function in day to day life. America F&%K yeah!

Way too many YDI's on this one. You guys should know that for every one time someone genuinely needs help, there are a hundred other FML's that end with "then he stole my wallet". I don't blame OP for ignoring her. Those douchebags who prey on human kindness have bred distrust of strangers into our society :(

YDI There was this drunk seeming stranger that was telling me about a blue moon we had recently. I stopped and listened politely. He COULD have had a medical condition that made him APPEAR drunk. The bottom line is there is always time to be polite even if it just to say "I have to go".

Wow, the human race can be so disgustingly selfish...I wonder when karma will return for you, jerk!

If i were u, i would feel sooo guilty!!
