Today, I was listening to my iPod while changing the diaper on my baby. One earbud fell out of my ear and onto the changing table so I quickly picked it up without looking and put it back in my ear, only to realize the headphone had fallen onto more than a table. I now have brown earphones. FML

Today, I was listening to my music on my phone through my Bluetooth wireless headphones. While listening, I turned my music and the power on my headphones off for a bit. I thought I'd lost them when I got home. They were so loosely fit over my ears that I felt like an idiot when I realized they were still on my head. FML

Today, my iPod dropped out of my pocket while I was walking. Trying to be cool, I attempted to kick it back into the air to catch it before it hit the ground. Upon making contact with my foot, It ended up detaching from my headphones and flying 10 feet. Right into a sewer grate. FML

Today, I was listening to music on my Bluetooth wireless headphones, when I put them around my neck to do something. Later, I put them back on to continue listening to my music. Even later on, I was looking for them and couldn't find them. I thought I had lost them, but then realized they were still on my head. FML

Today, I was on a crowded el train listening to my iPod touch. As I stepped off the train, my headphones got caught on a man's jacket and my iPod fell on the floor. The doors shut. I then watched the train pull away. With my iPod on it. FML

How does it make the OP a bad parent? It's not like the baby's gonna struck up a conversation and end up being ignored or anything. The OP was listening to music, not beating her baby with a stick.

"while changing the diaper on my baby" WTF is that? Changing the diaper on my baby? Is your baby an object? Like a car? Just changing the tires on my truck. Try "changing my baby's diaper." Jeez. Also, try some interaction with the kid. Buy a set of speakers so both you and your child can listen.

Why would anyone be listening to their iPod while changing their baby's diaper? YDI for both not paying attention to your baby AND for not looking at your headphones before PUTTING THEM IN YOUR EAR.
